Somewhere between holding the pen and my thoughts together,
jotting them felt like an effort,
that my child-self made it look effortless.
I feel pleased as I reflect on the past,
at the same time amazed at myself,
something that I hadn't realised then.
When I started my writing venture after having lost touch for years together,
I was looking for ways to begin and at first it seemed like trying to remove a boulder. 🏔️
It were the smaller things -
as little as tiny statuses, which moved to posts, then to the larger canvases,
but as I penned down my first thoughts,
putting down the weight, felt a lot easier.
More than what results it would bring,
I know it brought me a sense of relief.
And,
somewhere my younger-self had begun returning. 🧍♀️❤️
I am sure my best version is looking at me, proud of how far I have come and
the progress I am making,
even if it is steady.
When the universe had to be designed,
God too,
had a blank canvas to begin with,
and probably let the universe unfold as He went!
Like how a sculptor begins working on his piece,
no matter how adept,
has his own apprehensions,
navigates through every stage, before it starts taking form and to bring it to completion.
When the head of Lord Ganesha had to be replaced,
it wasn't a plan thought ahead,
but what it brought was a fresh beginning. ✨
And hence every prayer begins with him,
and no new adventure takes place, without his blessings. 🙏🌼
Every progress still counts, even if it is visible only to you!
Even if you don't know how it is gonna shape up, while acknowledging obstacles on the way,
what matters most is,
to begin, somewhere,
allowing it to ripen on its own.
And not to forget that the journey must be enjoyed, as you move! 🌱
