Had been making these over several weeks now, as keepsakes for my little ones, and they have been so excited about it.
They are finally done.
As you look closely, you'll find that each of the peices has its flaws, that would make fingers twitch to perfect them.
But they have managed to live through everything, as well as the test of time.
Our hero is the 'Sun',
also the most wrecked of all, yet, it didn't try to become something else.
We enjoyed painting them together and the moments have been captured,
but mostly, in our minds.
People take pictures, have photocopies to retain memories but how far can they take it with them.. for,
only memories that the soul remembers, layered impression across lifetimes remains within the lineage,
and by births are carried along.
These are archives from 2015;
feels like the other side of the world I belong.
Simply looking at it even today makes me happy, and wonder that this had been me - lost into my own little world,
while
I had just began to earn, but that did not change me from doing something from my heart as usual for mum's special day and so, I crafted this completely with paper. ๐
For a stretch I had forgotten that, not all was serious and back then there was a silly child inside me that expressed through non-verbal forms,
without knowing what whimsy and child like expressions actually meant.
โจ
Whimsical,
that could look silly but it is the silly which does no harm,
the puerile that doesn't wrong,
it is the frivolousness that the Creator loves and had sent us as, not as what we become, on Earth.
The playful innocence, spun from a moment's idle grace -
simple, not complicated.
Ever wondered why a baby's face is easier to capture on art, than an adult's.
Thankfully, that child inside me still exists and waited too long, to be rescued.
Sometimes a dip in the water is all one needs, to see the other side of things. ๐
(You'll know what I mean.)
As not every moment or thing is supposed to remain solemn.
All work and no play isn't worthwhile.
Even heaven wants to have fun!

So when was the last time you laughed naively or listened to your inner child?
The last time you were your childlike-self again, and truly cherished that moment?!
